

Scott Ferguson was born in Redding, CA, February 24,1963 and died Frbruary 17, 2011. He was 47 years old. He was a 1981 Enterprise High School graduate. He received a B.A. in Finance from CSU, Chico in 1988. He worked for Bank of the West in San Jose and then worked at Bank of America Loan Center in Sacramento for 15 years.
Scott had many interests, they included, Rock music, he also played guitar in a rock band. He enjoyed the outdoors, which included hunting, fishing, rafting, camping, hiking, including climbing Mt. Shasta and skydiving. He also loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his nephews and niece.
Scott was very giving of his time, as he spent many hours volunteering for different events that his work sponsored. He was a member and the treasurer of the Toastmasters. Scott also was a faithful blood donor. He was a very humorous, loyal and compassionate person. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his mother Rosemary Ferguson of Redding, sister Lynn Ferguson of Sacramento, brother and sister-in-law Jon and Tricia Ferguson, his nephews Davis and Jerred and niece Lindsey of Redding. Cousins Ernie and Trudy Tavares of Redding, Paul and Brenda Porter of Oklahoma. His Uncle Bob Robinson of Los Angeles and Aunt Donas Robinson of Woodland and many close family members and friends.
A funeral will be held Friday, February 25, at 2p.m. at McDonald's Chapel 1275 Continental St. There will be a visitation 10a.m. - 2p.m. February 25.
