Born Lillian Mabel Shirley Bryan in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1931. She was the wife of the late John Bryan and the mother of four children: John Richard, Reed, Susan, and Phillip DeHaven.
Shyrle was an avid person of faith and a member of both All Saints Episcopal Church and Diamond Fellowship at Bethel Church, both in Redding, CA.
She was one of the first women commercial sign painters in America. Shyrle will be remembered as a gifted author, poet, watercolor artist. She contributed in many ways to her community.
