Tom was born in Eureka, CA on Feb. 4, 1945 to James and Lanora Carlin. Tom passed away Aug. 23, 2016.He is survived by wife Corienne, son Nick, daughter-in-law Tiffany, two grandchildren Zoe and Evan, and his sister Anita McClanahan.Tom was a 1964 graduate of Fall River High School and was a Retired Emergency Room Nurse at Mercy (Redding) and St. Elizabeth Hospitals (Red Bluff).He proudly served in the US Army from 1965-1987 and was a Vietnam Veteran. Rest in peace, Tom. Thanks for loving me and our family and always making us laugh. Thank you to Tom's Mercy Hospital family for his loving care. A special "Tom Hug" to Ben, Margaret, Kat, Nick and Michelle at Mercy Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that any donations be made to The Wounded Soldiers Foundation. Services will be held Sept. 17 at 1:00 pm at McDonalds Chapel - Redding.
