Vaughn was a great example of what a mature christian man should  be and act like. I know that he made a big impact on my life when he was the high school boys sunday school teacher at North Valley. Missed but if you’re a believer we’ll see him again.

I trained with Vaughn for three years in the early 80’s. He was an inspiration and an example to all that knew him.

With the exception of my Father, Jerry Luedee, Vaughn impacted my life like no other. When I was on the Shasta Boxing Club,  After I would train , I would go to the weight room and see this massive of a man.  I knew right there that I would rather be a lifter. 54 years later. I am still driving iron. Vaughn inspired me to be a CLEAN lifter. I will carry on that legacy until it is my time when we will all be up with the Lord. God Bless you Big Man. I am so very sorry for your loss. As believers in Christ we know this is not the end.  To think your dad has been reunited with your dear mom is a wonderful thing. Debbie, Vaughn was so fortunate and blessed to have you to care for and love.
