Velma Jo Snow was born May 28, 1934 in Ft. Smith Arkansas. Her family moved to Stockton in the early 1940's.
She met and married her sweetheart, Rex Cash, on May 28, 1950, her sixteenth birthday.
They moved from Stockton to Santa Cruz in the mid 1950's, where she worked as a Dental Assistant. They raised two boys, Glen Rex and Jimmie Lynn in Santa Cruz and moved to Redding, CA in 1973. They were married for 58 years when Rex passed away.
Velma Jo enjoyed cooking, sewing, needlepoint, entertaining and laughing with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Rex, her son Jimmie Lynn, and granddaughter Summer Rose.
She will be greatly missed by her son Glen and daughter-in-law Dana, daughter-in-law Kim, and her grandchildren Ryan, Ashley, Ricky, Randy and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 2, 2021 at the Millville Cemetery, Millville, CA. Please bring your own chair.
