Wanda Heath

August 24, 1935 - July 18, 2014

Wanda Brown Heath, 78 of Redding, CA died Friday after a short illness in her home surrounded by her family.

She was born August 24th, 1935, to Olive and Ray Brown in Ohio. Wanda was the oldest of 2 children. She graduated from Anderson High School 1953. Wanda was a member of numerous clubs. She loved bowling and gardening.

Wanda met Richard Heath, 1952 while still attending high school and they were married January 29th, 1953 in Anderson, CA.

Wanda and Richard had 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Wanda was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Richard.

She is survived by three children, Richard (Janet), Lori Hood (Tom), Wendy Parent (Mark), grandchildren Joseph (Lisa), Clayton, Lindsay (TJ), Tommy, Johnny (Kara); Nicole (Poe), Natalie, Nicholas; Jacob and great grandchildren Hannah, Madison, JD, Elias, and LeiLani.

Services will be held, Saturday, July 26th, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, corner of South and East St., pot luck reception at Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Redding Mercy Hospice.
