Wanda Lee Payne

February 6, 1929 - March 28, 2014

Kitty was born February 6, 1929, to her loving parents Claude "Kirk" and Lillian "Lilly" Kuykendall, in Cushing, OK and she passed away March 28, 2014, at her home at Willow Springs in Redding. Kirk was a professional photographer and Lilly was a homemaker, also assisting her husband with the business of their photography studios. They raised Kitty, her sister Lela and her brothers, Bill, Cotton and C.C. at their family home in Bethany, OK. Kitty married her soul mate Ronald "Ronnie" Gordon Payne November 19, 1966. They were dedicated and loving parents to a total of 10 children, David Sr., Danny, Kathy, Kerry, Susy, Sandy, Robbie, Jeannette and Michelle, raising their grandson Lil' David as their own. They have 11 grandchildren Tammy, Michael, Jeremy, Misty Dawn, Jenny, David, Danny, Ronnie, Landon, Jaden and Parker; and 15 great-grandchildren.She loved serving Jesus, her children and grandchildren, playing in the garden, playing board and card games, and decorating her home. In her earlier years, she worked for General Dynamics, a major defense contractor, and later dedicated her life to those in recovery of alcohol and drugs through Lucky Deuce and Sigma-Share. She retired to Redding in 1989, where Kitty attended Risen King Community Church in Redding for many years.Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10th from 3-7 p.m. Memorial services will be held Friday, April 11th, also from 12:30-2 p.m. Both services will be held at McDonald's Chapel in Redding.Please sign the guestbook at http://obituaries.redding.com
