He spent his childhood in Culver City, California and later was drafted in the Navy during WWII. He served in the Pacific theatre (Phillippines) and after he was honorable discharged he worked for the aircraft industry and later for At&T. He was married to the love of his life, Betty, for 66 years. They both came to Redding in the late 1980s and became ill in July of 2010.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him especially by his 2 children, 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
