Barbara Elaine Rambough

May 3, 1957 – April 14, 2025

Barbara Elaine Sauls Rambough, 67, of Centralia, WA, passed away on April 14, 2025, at her home due to natural causes.

She was born May 3, 1957, at Fort Lewis Air Force Base in Pierce County, WA, the daughter of Howard Columbus Sauls and Dorothy Irene (Decker) Sauls.

Barbara graduated from Hazen High School in 1976, then went on to earn an associate degree in Dental Assisting. She worked as a long-time dental assistant and at Boeing as well.

She loved music, taking singing lessons, watching shows like “American Idol” and “The Voice,” attending concerts, and performing at local karaoke bars. Occasionally, she was able to even coax some of her friends and family down to the local karaoke bar in Renton. Her enthusiasm for music was passed to her son Brandon, who loves playing guitar.

Barbara cared deeply for others and her warm kindhearted nature provided encouragement to everyone she encountered. She loved spending time with family and friends and always looked forward to birthdays, holidays, and family gatherings. Barbara liked to watch the Seattle Seahawks games every Sunday, even more so when they won! She had many friends across Western Washington and enjoyed volunteering at the Eagles Club in Renton, WA.

Remaining to cherish Barbara’s memory are her children, Jeffrey Robert Jacobs, Eric Alan Jacobs, Brandon Lee Spence; mother, Dorothy Irene (Decker) Sauls; brother, Leonard Wayne Sauls; sister, Judith “Judy” Ann Sauls Pomeroy; brother-in-law, David Pomeroy; and sister-in-law, Lori (Rectenwald) Sauls.

Preceding Barbara in death are her father, Howard Columbus Sauls; and brother, James Howard Sauls.

Whisper “I love you” to a butterfly, and it will fly to heaven to deliver your message.

Barbara, you are the wind beneath our wings! And now it is time for you to fly away. So, we say goodbye for now but hope to meet again someday.
