Larry Ashton Edwards

EDWARDS, Larry Ashton, 42, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 at his home in Sandston, Va. Larry was born in Richmond, Va. to his parents, Chester Larry Edwards and Nina Carol Raper Edwards who have predeceased him. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl "Sheri" Jordan-Edwards; his sister, Carolyn Edwards; children, Brian Stanley, Justin Miller (Selena), Matthew Miller (Megan); and grandchildren, Destiny Stanley, Ava Miller, Colton Miller, Selena Miller, Oliver Miller, and Madeline Miller. Larry graduated from Highland Springs High School, served in the United States Army, attended J.S. Reynolds Community College and worked for many years a truckdriver. He enjoyed playing darts and was a long standing member of the Central Virginia Dart Association (CVDA). Larry especially loved Penn State and Virginia Tech football. Visitation will be 2-4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231 followed by his Celebration of Live at 4:00 p.m. and a reception at 5:00.
