BUFKINS, Alice Lane, 86, originally from Hanover County, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. She is survived by her son, Milton Harold Bufkins Jr.; daughter, Pamela and son-in-law, Ronald Stubbs; two grandsons, Ryan and wife, Kim, and Richard Stubbs; two great-grandchildren, Ann Kathleen and Tyler Lee Stubbs. She was surrounded with love from her many nieces and nephews, church family and nursing staff of Gentiva Hospice. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Emmaus Baptist Church, IH64 & Route 106, Providence Forge, Va. 23140.
