Dear Topaz, Jared & Family,

Loving Ann was something we all enjoyed; her beautiful smile, her everlasting joy, and her gentleness. These are just a few things that I will miss. In my heart, I can't give up, because she will always be there. So, for now, we will put her to rest, because for all of us, I know she would want that. There's so much we all wanted, needed, and forgot to say, but there is one thing for sure, we can't stand in God's way. So as her friend, I must stay strong...so that her precious name will carry on. We love her now and forever, in our hearts, mind, and soul.

May the Lord's Blessings be with you,
Auntie Sharon

HiTopaz
I would like to express to you and husband my deepest condolences. Your mom , Annie was a very caring and loving person, such a beautiful soul.
I remember when I first came to United States of America, I would visit your grandmother and Annie at their home in Brooklyn. Annie was always excited and ready to take me shopping around on Church Avenue where she assured me that I would get the best deals. It was such an incredible experience. Annie was well known and greeted with respect and hellos wherever we went because she was so friendly and loved.
I trust that God would bring great comfort to your heart and keep you in his unchanging hands.
Much love

Ann was a miraculously sweet and happy soul. She made her love of Topaz and Jared obvious to all and she imparted her love of family as we welcomed her into ours. We celebrate her optimistic spirit and strength through her challenges and will keep her in our hearts. She has and will continue to inspire us to share her spirit and strength with everyone we encounter
now and in the future.

Ann we love you.

Dear Topaz,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Annie was one of the sweetest, and most pleasant persons I've had the privilege of knowing. I thank God that she's had such a beautiful bond with you. She had seen, shared and experienced some of your greatest accomplishments during her life's journey. My prayer is that God will continue to comfort your heart. May you experience at this time His manifest presence. God bless.
Much Love
Auntie Ann

I have known Ms. Annie since I became friends with Topaz in the 6th grade. She was the sweetest most loving ‘second mommy’ to me. Ms. Annie was so creative and loved to use her hands. She’s shared delicious meals with me, made beautiful holiday cards, and I even still wear a tie- dye t shirt that she made me. Thank you for sharing your art with the world Ms. Annie Sampson. You are so loved and will be truly missed.

I didn't know Ann personally, and only met her a handful of times in my youth. A famous rhyme says, "Thursday's child has far to go" and Ann's life story is proof thereof. She lived and exemplified the good that life has to offer - the hopes and dreams that can be attained through strength and determination. May your loved ones carry on knowing that you are forever in God's memory (Job 14:14,15).
