Ann E. Sampson

SAMPSON, Ann E., 65, of Glen Allen, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen Adolphus Sampson and Jean Ann Ross-Sampson. Ann was a devoted a mother and homemaker as well as a member of St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church. Despite having only an elementary school education, Ann was blessed with many talents. She loved to cook Guyanese food. Some of her favorite meals to make were curry chicken and black cake. Her skills included making leathered products, designing jewelry, creating greeting cards and making tie dyed clothes. Some of her favorite jewelry products included bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. Ann was a very kind and loving person who enjoyed helping others. She often spent her time volunteering to feed those who were less fortunate. Ann’s greatest accomplishment was raising her daughter, Dr. Topaz, who was her pride and joy. She inspired her daughter to be the best through her role modeling.
