Betsy "Candy" Evans, 44, of Farmville, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Alfred “Al” Evans Jr.; mother, Brenda Campbell (William); stepmother, Beverly Stinnett; two stepchildren; four grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters, one brother, one stepsister, one stepbrother, and several loving aunts, uncles and extended family. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, with a funeral service at 2 p.m.
