She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne P. Mills; and brothers, Kenneth "Sonny" R. Bean, Charles "Bill" William Bean III.
Beverly retired from McGuire VA Medical Center where she worked as a Geriatric Nurse.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Mark D. Lavender (Sherrie Yorty), Jeffrey S. Lavender (Marjorie Perez Medolphe); step-daughters, Janey Neff, Janice Renick; grandson, Kalem Lavender Perez; and longtime, faithful family friend and prayer partner, Fatin Howard.
A graveside service for Beverly will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, Virginia 23150.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VBH Foundation, designated to Lakewood in Richmond, Virginia.
