Silva, Brenda Gail, 66, of Henrico, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Silva; and her parents, Grady and Marge Phillips. Brenda coached softball at the Varina Athletic Association. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed camping. Ms. Silva is survived by her children, Danielle Clark (David) and Delinda Nelson (Robbie); three grandchildren, Cody Nelson, Kallie Clark, and Katlin Clark; one great-grandson, CJ Nelson; sisters, Judy English, Cathy Wilson, Rita Chandler (Terry); brother, Grady Phillips Jr.; and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Shalom Baptist Church, 6395 Mechanicsville Tpk. Mechanicsville, VA 23111, with a reception to follow.
