He was preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Perdue, and is survived by his children, Raymond (Tammy), Michael, Larry (Amy), Donald (Donna), Wilmer (Sheron), Mavis, Harriet (Mike) and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Thursday, July 6 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave.
A funeral service will be held 2pm, Friday, July 7 at Fort Lee Baptist Church, 2727 Charles City Rd.
Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
