Carolyn "Earline" Marshall

Carolyn “Earline” Marshall, 70, of New Kent, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Greenwood; sister, Sharon Gay Marshall; father, Charles Marshall; mother, Mary Lou Marshall; step-father, Jessie “Uncle Red” Marshall; and brother, Arvin Marshall. Earline enjoyed genealogy. She is survived by her son, Larry Greenwood; daughters, Donna Arnold (John), Cindy Bailey (Chuck), Toni Jones (Russ); grandchildren; Chris Arpe, Tommy Greenwood, Amanda Waddell, Robbie Bailey, Kyle Arpe, Tori Arpe, Michael Bailey, Caroline Jones, and Ryan Jones; sisters, Peggy Marshall and Mary Marshall; brothers, Marvin Marshall (Cindy), Tommy Marshall (Audrey), Curtis Marshall (Wilma); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231, where a memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children at 100 St. Jude’s Street, Boulder City, NV 89005.
