Born on August 23, 1941. CP was a person who found joy in simple pleasures and meaningful conversations. CP was passionate about working with his hands, especially building things out of wood and tending to his yard. His garage was his sanctuary, a place where he could relax, listen to music, and engage in endless conversations with anyone willing to chat.
CP deeply cherished his family. He is survived by his son, Rodney Deane (Rhonda); daughters, Robin Wharton (Johnny) and Shelly Segan; sister, Carolyn Jackson; grandson, Allen Wharton; granddaughter, Whitney Gromes; and two great-grandchildren, Moxen and Maddox. CP was predeceased by his parents, Carroll and Edith Deane; brothers, Bradley and Calvin Deane; and his beloved wife, Linda Deane.
One of CP’s greatest joys was talking about his grandson Allen. He loved sharing stories about the times Allen would visit and help around the house—memories that always brought a big smile to CP’s face.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Countryside in Madison County for their outstanding care and love and to Trinity Hospice for their compassionate support.
May CP’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him. "Live in the moment"
