Charles Ernest Swinson, Sr.

SWINSON, Charles E. Sr., of Henrico, Va., went to be with God on August 17, 2018, at age 69. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claudie Swinson and Clara Haynes; sister, Carol Davis; and her brother, Irvin Swinson. He is survived by his wife, Linda Swinson; children, Charles E. Jr. and Adam Swinson, Kimberly Bowes, Charles R., Tonya and Amy Garten; grandchildren, Taylor, Jacob, Casey, Scott, Katelyn, Destiny, Madason, Tera, Patrick and Amber; sisters, Cheryle, Audra, Debbie and Kathy; brothers, Robert, William, and Shawn; along with other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 23. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park Cemetery.
