Conley Uriah Vick Jr.

Conley Uriah Vick, Jr., 79, of Henrico, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Joyce Ann Vick; son, Russell Vincent Vick; and wife, Betty Vick. Conley was a retired sheet metal worker with the Local 100. He was a member of the Moose Lodge as well as the American Legion. Conley served in the Air National Guard and with the U.S. Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He is survived by his sons, Michael Conley Vick, Sr. (Bobbi), Timothy Craig Vick, Sr., and Robert Glenn Vick (Susan); daughter, Elizabeth Orozco (Jay); grandchildren, Michael Conley Vick, Jr., Timothy Craig Vick, Jr., Denise R. Galloway, Jacob Aulman Vick, Lucy Elizabeth Vick, Lauren Elizabeth Vick, and Katelyn Paige Orozco; and great-grandchildren, Michael “Conley” Vick III, Awna Taylor Vick, and Trevor Bryan Galloway. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue Richmond, Va 23231, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
