Born on January 20, 1963 to George and Sibyl Smith in Covington, Virginia.
David is survived by his son George William Smith II, his brothers Martin Smith (Spouse Diane, children Amy, Stacy, Mary) of Chesterfield, Robert "Jonny" Smith (Spouse Priscilla, children Jamison and Jessica) of Petersburg, and a sister Deana Smith Marshall, (children Jaime and Nicholas) of White Stone and his three beloved granddaughters GraceLynn, Chole and Jaylin of Henrico.
Family will gather at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave at 1 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
