

He retired as logistics manager for James River Paper Corporation. After his retirement, he spent most of his time at his favorite place in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He kept busy as a realtor with Village Realty, Nags Head, NC, a volunteer with the Coast Guard Auxiliary and director of the North Carolina Beach Buggy Association. He enjoyed fishing in the Outer Banks, as well as in Mexico and the Bahamas. Spending time with his family, especially the great-grandchildren, was one of his greatest pleasures.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Horace Wigginton of Columbus, Ohio, sister, Judy Gettler of Cincinnati, Ohio and great-grandson, James Thomas Muller.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Linda Hines Wigginton; daughters, Tami Muller and Traci Miller (Vic); grandchildren, Berry J. Muller, Jr. (Alex), Staci B. Mull (Sean) and Madison Miller; great-grandchildren, Brooke and Riley Mull and Henry and Noah Muller; and nephew, Chris Sawyer.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 and Friday, July 24, from 10 to 11 a.m. where a memorial service in the funeral home chapel will immediately follow at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Kent Fire - Rescue.
