Deborah Ann French Amory, 67, of Henrico, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. French; and her son, Dwayne Amory. Deborah worked hard as a dedicated wife and mother and carried the title as “everything to everyone.”

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Frank E. Amory III; her children, Frank, Bernard, Angela, Wilbur, Tonya and Victoria; brother, Mike French (Kaye); and her numerous grandchildren, as well as several extended family members and friends.

Deborah’s husband states, “I often wonder why someone so beautiful, full of love and compassion for everyone and everything is taken from us, leaving us heartbroken and our lives shattered. I was up most of the night of her passing dwelling on this. With all of the turmoil in the world, just maybe God is taking his best angels.”

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 21, 2021 and Monday, February 22, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. "She Is Gone"

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she'd want. Smile, open your eyes and heart, love and go on!

We love you with all our hearts and souls.

From your sweet brother, Mike, Kaye (sis-in-law), David (nephew) and his lovely wife, Megan

"Everything to everyone" is the perfect description. Debbie for sure was everything to me. BEST friends for 57 years. We literally grew up together, sharing all of life's "firsts"....My heart is shattered knowing that I can't physically see her again, but I sure can feel her everywhere. Except for the loss of my Mother, I've never felt such a loss. I'm not sure how to proceed without her here, but in Debbie's word's, "I'll figure it out". Sleep well Debbie. I know you know how much I loved and appreciated you...That will never ever stop. Until we meet again, Nancy.
