Duan Terrence Means, 58, of Henrico passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Marion Means. He was a residential compliance officer with Henrico County Public Schools and was a member of The City Church and Faith Landmark Ministries. Duan attended S. U. N. Y. Binghamton University and Potsdam University. He enjoyed studying the Bible and sharing what he learned. He is survived by his wife, Eva Means; children, Candise McGhee, Gabriele McGhee, Miranda Means and Duan Perez-Means; grandchildren, Chanelle McGhee, Cherish McGhee, Rain Perez-Means, Vaugh Harris and Cassidy Perez-Means; and siblings, Bernard Means, Gregory Means, Warren Means, Cheryle Means- Taylor, Andre Means, Michele Means-Haye and Demetrius Means. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.nelsenrichmond.com.
