Edna Mae Groome Bragg was a very loving and caring member of the Groome family. She joined our family when she married my Mother's brother, Kenneth. Always gentle and smiling and ready to assist anyone. Wonderful seamstress. Ruffles on everything possible. Kenny Wayne, Randy, and Raymond couldn't enjoy ruffles but she still enjoyed making outfits and play things for them. She was a wonderful Mom, Grandmother and Aunt and will be greatly missed. God Bless you all in your loss. I still remember my trip to Coney Island with her and Uncle Kenneth to visit her sister Virginia and family before the boys were born. She made us matching red, white, and blue dresses.

Aunt Edna was a very special influence in my life. Her love for children spilled over on me as she sewed special dresses and always welcomed me into her home. Even when I "grew up," and moved away from Richmond, she delighted in blessing my children with special birthday and seasonal cards and a $5 bill. I will always remember sitting around her table and sharing stories of family members. She was very dear to me. Heaven is richer as we celebrate her homegoing!
