ELLIOTT, Eleanor Ryder, 99, of Richmond, Va., passed away August 28, 2018, at Hermitage Richmond, where she had resided for eight years. She was born August 28, 1919, to parents, Harry and Lillian Ryder, who had predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her sister, Jeanne Whitesell; and a son, Robert Elliott. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Patty) Elliott and Walter (Dwan) Elliott. She loved playing the piano and bridge. There will be a Celebration of Life at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 21, at Reveille United Methodist Church, 4200 Cary Street Rd., Richmond, Va. 23221, where Eleanor had been a member for many years.
