She was a graduate of Highland Springs High School class of 1957 and retired from Henrico County Public Schools Transportation after 36 years of service. She was a member of Fairmount Christian Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Virginia Nunn; sister, Virginia Mae ‘Momma Mae’ Madison, and husband, David ‘Bud’ Weiser; along with several nieces and a nephew. Betty Anne is survived by her three children, David Lee (Helen), Ray, Beth Broocks (Joe); grandchildren, Jackie (Ryan), Nicholas (Brandi), Wayne (Mary Rose), Victoria (Jesse), Matthew, Bobby; and 9 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23rd 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24th, 12pm, at Nelsen Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Washington Memorial Park.
Betty was welcomed into heaven‘s pearly gates by her devoted husband, Bud, who patiently waited for her for 21 years.
