Evelyn Jones Harris Dranoff, 87, of Varina, born May 9, 1929, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016. She retired from A&P Food Store after 27 years of service. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Harris and Morris Dranoff; daughter, Diane Harris, and stepson, Chuck Harris. She is survived by her children, Nell Lewis (Bubba), Janet Payne (Don), and Charles Harris (Carolyn); seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00am at Washington Memorial Park.
