FERRELL, JR., Floyd Monroe "Rocky", 65, of Varina received his angel wings on February 28, 2018. His family is comforted in knowing that his grandmother, Phyllis, whom he loved deeply, welcomed him with open arms. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ezekiel and Phyllis Ferrell; his parents Dorothy Ferrell and Floyd Ferrell, Sr.; and his brother Larry Wayne Ferrell. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 10 years, Shirley Wray Ferrell "Deanie"; his three daughters, Jennifer Ferrell, Jessica Clay (Hunter), Jaclyn Curtis (Mike); and six step-children, Jeni Douglas, Kristie Mott-Edwards, Jamie Dickinson, Tommy Dickinson (Brooke), Angie Dickinson and Adam Dickinson; his brothers Curtis Robertson (Lisa) and Melvin Ferrell and sister, Charlotte Miller. He was also Grandpa Rocky to 9 grandchildren, and had a host of extended family and friends. He was a professional upholsterer and was very passionate about his family, his turtles, metal detecting, bluegrass music and traveling with his wife.
