Frank Knight Harris

HARRIS, Frank Knight, 88, of Morgantown, WV, formally of Varina, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 3, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wingie H. and Ruby S. Harris; brothers, David Woodson Harris and William Philip Harris. Frank is survived by his brother, J. Hunter Harris (Ruth); niece, Nancy Kulp of California; nephews, William P. Harris Jr. of California, John Edward Harris, Raymond Hunter Harris; special and dear friends, Jean Meade, Al Munson, and Pastor Rick Allison; and many other family members and friends. Frank was a graduate of Varina High School, UVA, and Medical College of Virginia, school of Pharmacy. Frank retired after working many years as a pharmacist at Jones Pharmacy in Franklin, VA and Stuart Circle Hospital in Richmond, VA. He was also a Navy Veteran that served his country in the Sea Bees in WWII, a member of Four Mile Creek Baptist Church for many years, and a current member of Avery United Methodist Church in WV. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at Four Mile Creek Baptist Church, 2950 New Market Rd., Henrico, VA 23231; where a service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
