He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rita Aloi. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Frances; children, Steven, Karen, Ricky and Timmy; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
“Fred” was born in Richmond and dedicated his life to God, country and family. His career as a ceramic tile and marble technician can be seen in many buildings and especially at St. John’s Catholic Church in Highland Springs, where he and his family were members for years.
Fred served in the U.S. Navy honorably. He enjoyed life with many trips with Victory Bus and friends, involvement in the Giuseppe Verdi Lodge and The Knights of Columbus. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Catholic Church in Highland Springs or Giuseppe Verdi Lodge in Mechanicsville.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 22, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. The graveside service will be private.
