George A. Hall

George Arlvin Hall, 90, of Midlothian, VA. went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings and his son, Gary George Hall. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Morrison Hall, son William Arlvin Hall (Deni), daughters, Deborah Tucker Schieber (Fred) and Joan Carol Hall; Grandchildren, Terry Lynn Sellers (Shannon), Brandon Resnick (Dianah); 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Arlvin grew up in the Northern Neck area and later moved to Richmond. He was the maintenance foreman for Richmond Hotels, Inc. for over 25 years. He was a long time member and deacon of Oakwood Memorial Baptist Church. Arlvin enjoyed beekeeping, gardening, woodworking and fishing. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 26, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. 23231, where services will be held on Monday, July 27 at 11am. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
