Grace Louise Brown

BROWN, Grace Louise, 86, of Sandston, passed away on August 29, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carroll Brown Sr.; son, Edward Carroll “Buster” Brown Jr.; and grandson, Robert Seymore Jr. Called “Amazing Grace” by her family, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her children, Wayne Brown, Dorothy Brown Seymore, Patricia Brown Harvey (Bubba), Kim Brown Epps and Shelby Brown; her grandchildren, Shawn House, Michael Brown, Christine Shell, Stuart Seymore, Jordan Harvey, Chelsey Harvey, Daniel Harvey, Kristen Epps, Kaitlen Epps and Kyle Epps; six great-grandchildren; brother, Herbert Hooper (Holly); sisters, Jeanette Hogge (Larry) and Shirley Perrin (Pete); and numerous friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home and from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013. Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
