Helen May Berry

Berry, Helen May, 56, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Godfrey and Bell Hertsch and brother, Richard Hertsch. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Walter Berry; daughters, Jessica, Angela and Lori Berry; son, Jason Berry; sister, Cheryl Plott (Richard); brothers, Godfrey Hertsch (Evelyn) and Robert Hertsch; grandbabies, Nathan, Maddisyn, Maddux, Stella, Bianca, and Jace. Helen was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. She had a heart of gold and was a nurturer and a giver. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and her grandbabies were her life. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 9, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where services will be held Wednesday, July 10, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield at 3 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.nelsenrichmond.com.
