Inez Mundie Wright

Inez Mundie Wright, 95, of Mechanicsville died peacefully on Thursday, June 13, 2013. Inez was a resident of Covenant Woods and was married to the late George M. Wright. She was born June 23, 1917 to Twillie and Elton Mundie of Essex County, Va. Inez was one of 10 siblings. She is survived by her brother, Reuben H. Mundie of Milford; daughter, Carolyn Harrison Bowles (Fontaine); 3 grandchildren, David Bowles of Gainesville, Fla., Elizabeth Bowles Salim and Lisa Fontaine Bowles of New York; 5 great-grandchildren, Scott Bowles, Brett Bowles, Steven Bowles, Sarah Bowles, and Natalie Salim; niece, Dianna Robertson (Jack); a special nephew, Dan Wright (Carol); and devoted friend, Shirley Smith. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 16 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue Richmond, Va 23231, where a service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17.
