James "Jimmie" Conway

James “Jimmie” Conway, 62, of Sandston passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021. He was a dedicated father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an employee of Smiley’s Auto Glass and enjoyed racing, tinkering, coaching and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Barbara Conway and is survived by his sons, J. C. Conway (Taylor) and Johnny Conway (Jessica); grandchildren, Lexi, Noelle, Grady, Kimber, Jett, Emmett and Baker; siblings, Danny Conway (Sabrina), Tina Maxim (Dave) and Joy Asberry (Mike); and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 24, from 12 to 4 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a funeral service will be held Monday, October 25, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
