She worked as a tax preparer and was a former school bus driver for public school systems in Maryland and Virginia. Jane was also an avid country music singer and guitar player.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Forrest, Sr.; children, Burnie Matthews, Nancy Mizzer, Greg Matthews, Charles Shrodes and Donnalee King; brother, Ed Granzow; sister, Essie Granzow; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
