Joan Currie Bryant

Joan Currie Bryant, 78, of Varina, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and William Currie Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her brother, William Currie Jr. (Glenda) of Mechanicsville; sister, Janice Groff (Lyn) of Sandston; two daughters, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park. We would like to thank Joan’s granddaughter, Ashley, for her care and being there through her time of need.
