She was a retired office manager with American General Insurance with 45 years of service. She dedicated over 35 years to the nursery ministry of Landmark Baptist Church, where she was a devoted member, while also cherishing time spent with her family at the beach and enjoying various puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Terrell Hudgins and daughter, Jessica Maclelland.
She is survived by her son, Allan Mowbray (Lisa); grandchildren, Rachel, Hannah and Alex; brother, Wayne Hudgins (Caroline); and niece, Hillary Goldsmith.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Landmark Baptist Church, 4000 Creighton Road, Richmond, VA 23223 where a funeral service will be held Friday, May 2, at 12 p.m.
Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Landmark Baptist Church.
