Joanna Jacobsen Ernest

Ernest, Joanna Jacobsen Campbell, 88, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Joanna is survived by her husband, Fred Ernest; children, Joseph Campbell (Tia), Carolyn Mondy (Roy), Nancy King (Allen), Darlene Howard (John); brothers, Thomas Jacobsen (Mickey), John Jacobsen; sister, Rosemary Kelley (Henry); eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends, here and in Denmark. Joanna retired from Life of Virginia with over thirty years of service and was an active member of Black Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 3 -7 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 Laburnum Ave Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, August, 5, 2014 at 11 am at Black Creek Baptist Church, 6289 McClellan Rd. Mechanicsville, VA 23111. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
