John Aubrey Gilliam

John Aubrey Gilliam, 46, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anna L. Gilliam and niece, Amber Billips. He is survived by his wife and soul mate, Regina Mays Gilliam; daughter, Jalyn LeAnna Gilliam; son, Joshua Mays Gilliam; father, R. Aubrey Gilliam (Mary); sister, Etta Billips (Larry); nieces, Amanda and Danielle Billips; nephew, Brock Billips; half-sisters, Cheryl Strong (Webb) and Stephanie Gilliam; as well as uncles, aunts and cousins. John’s variety of friends are abundant, especially his best friend of 40 plus years, Cliff Davis; and surrogate “mother-in-law”, Clementine Williams. John was a loving husband, The Best Father, brother and friend. His presence will be forever in our hearts. The family will receive friends Monday, May 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S.
