John Kirk Hornung, 57, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Hornung. John worked as a Nursing Aid for many years, and even during his retirement his passion for caregiving was lovingly extended to his mother and brother. During his relax time he would enjoy watching football and NASCAR. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Dora S. Hornung; siblings, Paul W. (Joan) and Jeffery K. Hornung; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28th at 1pm with funeral services to immediately follow at 2pm. Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston VA.
