Joseph Vasko III

On June 14, 2025 our brother, cousin, step father, grandfather and great grandfather passed into the arms of our Heavenly Father, following a life of dedication to his church, his family, friends, and neighbors.

Jody was predeceased by his wife Louise Wickstead Vasko.

Survivors include a brother Robert C. Vasko; step children Anne Taylor and husband Charles, and David R. Wickstead and wife Nancy; grandchildren Brooke and Jenna; great grandchildren, Christian, Hunter, Logan, Layla, and Jaxon; cousins include Bonnie Hopson, Patricia Butterworth, Lisa McDonald, John Uhlman, Wendy Uhlman, Kistie Patch, Ethel Patch, Bill Patch, Mike Patch, Ralph Patch, Janet Farthing, Clinton Groover, Donald Groover, and Gordon Groover.

A graveside service will be held at Washington Memorial Park on June 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hunton Baptist Church.

A celebration of Jody’s life will be held at Hunton Baptist Church 11660 Greenwood road, Glen Allen, VA. 23059 at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
