GRIFFIN, Kathryn A., 91, of Fayetteville, NC, formerly of Richmond, Va., passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Audrey M. Griffin. Kathryn worked in customer service for many years at Thalhimers. She formerly attended Grove Avenue Baptist Church. Kathryn is survived by her children, Audrey Kay Myers, Kathy G. Osterbind (Richard), and Louis M. Griffin; three grandchildren, Tammy Johnson, Teresa Church, and Jami Lewis; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, Va 23231, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
