She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Timberlake; and sons, George Warren Timberlake, Michael Ray Timberlake.
Kay retired from AT&T and was a dedicated member of New Hope Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Barbara Timberlake LeMay, Kevin Eugene Timberlake (Brandy); ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Dale Barlow Sr. (Francis), Henry Barlow (Joann), John Barlow Sr.; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, July 10, at 2 p.m. Private inurnment will be held at a later date in Washington Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the ASPCA.
