Sgt. Kenneth “Peanut” Raymond Webb, Sr. , 63, of Varina, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Octavia and James Arnold Webb. He is survived by his children, Kenneth Webb Jr. and Melissa Long (Rob), and their mother Joyce Sellers; grandson Kyle Scott Webb; brothers Ernest Damron (Arlene), James Webb (Shirley), Ronald Webb (Betty), and Harold Webb, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Peanut was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. His love and passion was blue grass music and above all Baseball where he played, coached, umpired, and mentored many young players. A visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8PM on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231 where a service will be held at 3PM Wednesday, August 28th. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
