Laura Bacci Gibson, RN, 44, of Ashland, joined her daughters in heaven on March 20, 2014. Laura was a registered nurse and worked for VCU Health Systems. Laura was preceded in death by her mother, Clarice Bacci. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Brian Gibson; father, Sherrill Bacci; sisters, Memori Oatman (Gene), Sarah Bacci (J.T. Strode); her beloved nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231, where a funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Richmond, VA.
