Cook, Leonard Dudley Jr., 76, of Sandston, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2015. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Leonard D. Cook, Sr. and Frances W. Cook, whom he idolized. He was a retired art director for a local advertising firm, and a lifetime member of American Family Fitness. Dudley’s passions were his family, music, art and living a Christian life. Although there is no immediate family, he is survived by one aunt, several cousins, their extended families and many friends who will all miss him dearly. At his request there will be no visitation. All he wanted was a simple graveside service, which will be held in Washington Memorial Park at 11am on Wednesday, August 12, officiated by Pastor Karl Heilman of Sandston Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
