MELTON, Linda M., passed away January 7, 2016. She was retired from the DMV and was a faithful member of Pioneer Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lelia and Burnett Meador; and her siblings, Bruce and Betty Jane Meador. She is survived by her devoted son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Kathy Britton; her beloved grandchildren, Aaron, Michael and Ryan; siblings, Larry Meador (Gayle), Wanda Meador and Barbara Williams (Richard); her aunt, Imogene Meador; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dear friend, Nancy Tyler. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. A service will be held Sunday, January 10, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., at Pioneer Baptist Church, 3140 Darbytown Rd., Henrico. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park.
