Cheek; and loving brother-in-law, Merle Corbin; along with many nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved dearly. She was a real Southern lady, with grace, warmth and beauty. She lived by the Golden Rule, a life of giving and service to others, as a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and above all, a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was an angel on earth and now takes her place in Glory. She was a longtime member of Oakwood Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 23, 2021, from 4 to 8 pm., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231.
