Louise D. Corbin, 93, departed this world for her eternal heavenly home on April 13, 2021.
She was born May 1, 1927 in LaCrosse, Va., the daughter of Gilliam and Eva King Daniel. She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, James Corbin; sisters, Rowena D. Warren and Anne D. Clark; and her brother, Thomas H. Daniel.
She is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Constance and Terry Arnett; her cherished grandchildren, Brandon Arnett (Jaime) and Ashley Brodeur (Al); great-grandchildren, Jackson and Adalynn Arnett; devoted sister, Doris D. She was a real Southern lady, with grace, warmth and beauty. She was an angel on earth and now takes her place in Glory. She was a longtime member of Oakwood Memorial Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 23, 2021, from 4 to 8 pm., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 1 p.m. in Washington Memorial Park.
